Time Out says

You could say 1926 was a good year for Alan Cobham: not only was he the first person to fly from London to Cape Town and back, he also became the first to make the return journey to Australia in a plane, earning himself the Air Force Cross and a knighthood from King George V in the process. This new exhibition, a visual display about Sir Alan Cobham's life, takes its name from the series of flying tours Cobham made of the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa, which promoted aviation to the public and provided inspiration for countless pilots in World War II.
