Before the not-for-profit members’ club opens here in the autumn, they will be holding a season of cultural events in St Barnabas’s house chapel. Titled ‘A Mighty Big If’, these soirees will offer intimate performance and spoken word events, with artists, curators and musicians taking part in an impressive range of activities. On March 21, to kick things off, acclaimed actor Brian Cox will discuss his prolific career. Then on April 17 artist and musician Martin Creed curates an evening of acoustic music. Both events are bookable in advance, at £10 and £20 respectively.
