Highlight of the fourth annual festival is this pop-up restaurant, which will serve a menu made entirely from leftovers and food collected by the Best Before Project – that is, food that's past its Best Before date but still perfectly edible. The evening also includes live music, and all funds raised will help support the Brixton People's Kitchen and the White Lion's own Music4Children charity.
Other events in the festival include a food tour of 20 local restaurants that cover 13 international cuisines (16-17 Aug), a family healthy eating day (17 Aug) and a Sunday Food Fair on Streatham Green (18 Aug).
