Time Out says

It'll be a seriously hairy finish for this eight-kilometre charity run which will see up to 800 participants race around the city in identical gorilla suits. Returning for 2015 with celeb guest Bill Oddie in tow, the race passes the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral as it winds its way through the City, so the gorillas may pass some more traditional suits on their way back to the finish line on Mincing Lane. All funds raised will go towards biodiversity conservation and poverty reduction projects in central Africa and participants are encouraged to to raise £400 each in sponsorship money. To take part runners must pay a registration fee of £58 in advance, but that includes a gorilla suit which you get to keep, and therefore an end to fancy dress worries for the rest of time.
