Highlight of the Pleasure Gardens Fire Festival (17 Oct-3 Nov) is their Bonfire Night celebrations. Get stuck into hot food and drink at the various stalls until the bonfire is lit at 7pm, marking the beginning of the evening's entertainment: a Tea House Theatre show that tells of the origins of fire using storytellers, gymnasts, artists and even parkour dancers (they'll need to be careful what they're jumping on). The evening comes to its climax with a spectacular firework display at 8pm.
