Join Wikipedia's founder Jimmy Wales and an impressive line-up of other tech leaders and experts for the online knowledge base's global summit at the Barbican. The central theme is the future of the Wikipedia site, but other topics to be covered in the talks and workshops include the future of education, democratic media and open scholarship. A pre-event 24-hour 'hackathon' – a marathon of collaborative software development – takes place on August 6-7.
