The info is so wrong. You guys should really have taken it off. It says that it's good until 25 Jan, so I went there with my friend today but didn't see lights on Middle Dock. Therefore, I thought that we might went to a wrong place. I followed the address that you guys provide here, which is Isle Of Dogs, London, E14 4HJ. That is so wrong. It's not even in Canary Wharf. My friend and I took DRL Island Gardens. It was nothing there. It was just a building. Therefore, we went back to Canary Wharf again to find out unusual wind-powered illuminations, but there were not there anymore. Please be careful of that.
Winter Lights at Canary Wharf 2013
Until Sat Jan 25

Dutch artist Rombout Frieling has created some rather unusual wind-powered illuminations for Middle Dock’s winter display this year. The little fluttering lights are called Flumens and are arranged in the shape of sails that are responsive to the breeze. Head down after dusk to catch the full effect. The lights are viewable 24 hours a day.

Perhaps they look good at night when viewed from a certain angle, but at other times, although it sounds like a great idea in principle, they seem to lack that finishing touch that would have made them aesthetically pleasing to the eye. When you look down at them in daylight and see bare metal poles that haven't been cut to size and just joined together with bolts, they look more like a bit of scaffolding that's fallen off a disused building site.
Is amazing view that keeps you in awesome feeling .... that matches the style of canary wharf _ worlds one of the best place to be ..
