With funding from the Big Lottery's Local Food scheme, The Albany presents a festival exploring the space where food and art meet. Over six weeks audiences will cook up feasts together as part of a theatre piece (Only Wolves and Lions, Nov 1-2), experience poetry cum dining with Caribbean grub and course-themed menu of poetic performance (Come Rhyme With Me, Oct 11) and get messy in Undercover Theatre's Big Food Fight (Nov 9). If you fancy a taster beforehand, the launch day (Oct 6) will offer up treats to come from the festival, including a petting zoo, cocktail making workshop, live music and a barbecue.
