What’s the biggest thing that’s happened in your field in the past 40 years?
‘The Old Truman Brewery’s fashion initiative, Fashion East.’
What’s your favourite place/thing in London?
‘My dog, Betty.’
Personal favourite moment in London?
‘Being born – I’m from Wandsworth originally and I’ve always lived in the south of the city. Another highlight was seeing Prince perform at the O2 last year. Front row, three nights in a row!’

What’s the future of fashion in London?
‘Me and my designer pals.’
What does Time Out mean to you?
‘A great going-out guide. And the first thing I buy when I travel to a new city.’
How do you feel about being one of our heroes?
‘Well cool.’
What’s the best party you’ve ever been to?
‘I end up going to loads at London Fashion Week and the best are always the ones thrown by Mandi Lennard. Other than that I love house parties. There seems to be one every week at the moment. I love the ones where I end up either on the floor or leaving without a shoe.’
