What?
Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein star in this wicked send-up of Portland hipsterdom. Brownstein is the former singer of indie legends Sleater Kinney, so it could be argued that it takes one to know one.
Why?
It’s funny because it’s true. Craft jewellery franchises, achingly precious indie rock, feminist bookshops and artisan light bulbs (!) all get the treatment – denizens of ‘London’s fashionable East End’ might find themselves shuddering in self-recognition.
