Live Six Nations Rugby
Sat Mar 16, 4.30-7pm, BBC1
Fri Mar 8 2013
Steve Brown
Barring any shocks in the penultimate weekend of the Six Nations, it doesn’t get much bigger than this in the Northern Hemisphere. England going for the Grand Slam in Cardiff, their hosts’ reward, as if stopping them wasn’t enough, winning the title themselves. All to play for, as they say. The visitors will be hoping Owen Farrell returns from his thigh injury as expected, but they can depend on Robshaw’s leadership and Tuilagi’s speed and strength to take this to the wire.
Wales will have smelt blood after seeing their opponents bested by a poor France for most of the game three weeks ago – in Halfpenny they have Farrell’s equal and in truth, apart from the shock opening day defeat to Ireland they are just as good as last year’s Grand Slam winning side. Blood, guts, pain and glory – sit back and enjoy.
