As with any athletics meet where he’s involved, the Diamond League Athletics event at the Stade de France in Paris will be all about the crowd-pleasing (and slightly fast) Usain Bolt. He will be competing in the 200m against a field which includes talented Frenchman, Christophe Lemaitre, who with a personal best of 19.80 seconds is no slouch himself.
Bolt will be looking to beat Michael Johnson’s best time at this event, a very respectable but achievable 20.01 seconds, which would see Bolt smash yet another long-held record. Presented by Gabby Logan and with expert analysis from Colin Jackson, other event higlights include the 1,500m, the 110m hurdles, the women’s 100m and the frequently entertaining 3,000m steeplechase.
