Editor, Time Out Dubai

ITP Publishing is looking for an editor to head up its flagship weekly title, Time Out Dubai. Applicants must demonstrate at least two years experience on a weekly title, and must have edited a title previously. Knowledge of the Dubai market is an advantage.

This pivotal position involves leading and motivating a hardworking team, directing editorial schedules, managing the company's two largest annual awards ceremonies and the year-long review process behind them, overseeing Time Out Dubai supplements, guides, online content and any further new brand extensions, as well as acting as the face of the brand on local radio, TV and at events. The successful candidate will also edit the bi-annual publication, Time Out Style.  You'll be working within a fast-paced and exciting environment for the largest publisher in the Middle East, based in the heart of Dubai.

Deputy Editor, Time Out Singapore

Time Out Singapore is looking for a talented Deputy Editor to work on its award-winning monthly magazine. Reporting to the Editor, your duties would include:

• Taking content from raw copy to press
• Generating ideas
• Writing
• Commissioning
• Enforcing deadlines
• Editing
• Proofreading
• Fact-checking
• Cutting in pages

• Experience in a similar role
• An excellent command of the English language
• A sharp editorial mind (both content and design wise)
• A willingness to explore the city
• To be overflowing with ideas
• To have an eagle-eye for detail
• The ability to cope under pressure to meet deadlines
• A working knowledge of InDesign
• Previous experience with the Time Out brand would be a benefit
