Fulham FC's home ground may not be quite as quaint as its name suggests, but next to giant, modern stadiums such as Arsenal's Emirates, Craven Cottage certainly has charm. Set in leafy Bishop's Park, the site of the pitch has a long sporting history, reportedly forming part of Anne Boleyn's hunting grounds, and has been used for football since the late 1800s. Proud Fulham supporters revel in the significance of their club's home, though plans to make a little more cash from a new site are on the table. As it stands, Craven Cottage can pack in 25,500 spectators and, football aside, is an excellent example of stadium architect Archibald Leitch's handiwork.
