Fabric's dream space is a 2,600-capacity club and live music venue built under the former Millennium Dome. Expect the same stellar programming and big-name DJs as at its legendary older brother, but whereas Fabric is dedicated to dance music, the larger Matter has been designed by architect William Russell to operate as a concert venue, a club, a performing arts space or a VIP club. Sightlines are great and the sound is amazing, with state-of-the-art 3D mapped audiovisuals on interlocking screens and a 'BodyKinetic' dancefloor. It all sounds very sci-fi, not to mention a long way from central London at 6am, but Thames Clipper boats operate half hourly to Waterloo Bridge and Thames Pier. A mind-blowing experience for the adventurous clubber.
