Fabric's dream space, a 2,600-capacity industrial-styled club and live music venue built under the former Millennium Dome, is now Proud Camden's wild lovechild. It has been closed for most of 2010, but the superclub has been refurbished under its new owners and is ready to channel the untamed, multi-sensory nightlife of Los Angeles and the glam yet unbridled hedonism of Ibiza's clubs. Expect indie and electro programming with celebrity DJs and rising live bands every weekend.
It's a groove odyssey alright, journeying once again to The O2 for more lashings of sexy soulful house to disco from ...

The worst nightout I has ever had.. Not worth the journey . This will be another flop of a club. Treated like a criminal - body searched before you even go in. Poor cub experience

Was there on Thursday for the press evening and was pretty sceptical in the lead up. Was pleasantly surprised to see what Proud have accomplished - it's a completely different venue and fair play it does look amazing. The music was quality and fun and the circus performers were innovative and extremely entertaining. Had a real laugh - for those willing to mission it out to north Greenwich it's worth it if only once.
I went to the press launch on Thursday, probably with the same thoughts as all of you.. Will this work? It's really far out.. but then I walked into the basement and WOW! What a slap in the face, the venue is absolutely stunning, with every area designed magically, they have brought the outdoor festival inside, with ground entertainers, gymnasts, musicians and much more. This is going to be the next best thing in London. I've never been anywhere like it. It's like being in bling heaven! It's got a mainstage like KOKO but Proud2 is SO much more glam. Don't be lazy, get down there and I promise you'll have one hell of a special experience!!
Plush Dafunk was chill. The new owners have opened up the floor more and added some features which add an extra bit of wow to the ambiance. When it comes to having a big night out not much compares to this place... vibrating dance floor and the energy you get from high ceilings.... can't wait for summer out on the terrace overlooking the thames.
Wow! Literally like being in Vegas! Crazy entertainment and good music. Love.
Was blown away last night, has come such a long way from matter - looks amazing, great performances, was really impressed! Looking forward to future nights out there!
Went along with a mate to the launch last night and was pretty damn impressed, might have something to do with the free drink but I loved the place, the outside terrace alone was worth the trip
If Fabric couldn't make it work, what makes Proud think they can? All the line ups are oddly programmed so far, with a load of bands in BIG LETTERS with (dj set) sneakily slotted in somewhere after. Those line ups are not going to fill that venue, hence them offering loads of people to get in for free. Proud gets full because it's in camden, not because it has fantastic line ups (although there are some obviously). I'd be very interested to see how this works out....
NYE was totally fun.. the venue was packed and there were circus performers hanging from the ceiling, on stage and wandering throughout. Really good DJs and nice surprise to wander outside to find a shuttle bus back into the City. After dancing until 5am it was my saviour! Can't wait to see the completed re-deign!! x
