London Zoo
London Zoo review
London Zoo is home to more than 600 animal species, many of which are endangered - your entry fee contributes to London Zoo's conservation projects across the globe. There are plenty of cafés and picnic spots, and the zoo offers educational and craft activities as well as an ongoing programme of exhibitions and events exploring science and conservation. A walk-through aviary makes it possible to see exotic birds close up in their natural environment. The Meet the Monkeys attraction allows visitors, guided by zoo staff, to walk through an enclosure that recreates the natural habitat of black-capped Bolivian squirrel monkeys. The new Animal Adventure is a children's adventure zone featuring treetop walkways around the coatis and red pandas, an underground tunnel through which kids can pop up in to the aardvark enclosure and a Touch Zone where visitors can up close to llamas, alpacas and donkeys.
