Where to start. What a terrible pub.
Came here for a live music night on a Saturday night and was highly disappointed by the service and attitude of the staff.
Ordering a drink (politely or not) seemed like a heavy burden on the bar staff, met with a sulk and slow service.
The glasses weren't washed properly, and since myself and my friends have all developed colds/sore throats.
The only saving grace was the band I went to see, who were amazing. It's unfortunate their first gig was in such a dissaponiting venue.
This pub is awful.
Considering this is also a music venue relying on passing trade and return custom, you'd think the bar staff would try a little harder to make your visit enjoyable. Instead, they were rude, slow, incompetent and even politely ordering a drink seemed like a hassle to them.
Even the poster for the bands looked rather underwhelming and did nothing to brighten the place up.
If you like crap staff, long waits at the bar and a scabby environment, then this is definitely the hole for you.
