Located smack-bang in the middle of bustling Brick Lane and open seven days a week, with a late licence on Friday and Saturday. There are three rooms - the main hall, the Gallery Bar and the Pink Bar - plus a spacious cobbled courtyard with benches and tables, which is a blessing if the place is packed in summer. The booking policy of this venue - which took its name from an old surveying plaque on the perimeter of the property - is rampantly eclectic, ranging from alt.rock and electro to psych-pop and all points in between. Friday nights and Monday nights are free.
