No longer the be-all and end-all of East End clubbing, this three-floor institution still draws queues for indie-rave mash-ups at the weekends. 333's basement bar was reputedly originally built as the lock-up for the town hall across the street. These days its dark and intense surroundings host a handful of decent nights with suitably ironic titles such as Shoreditch is Shit, We Have Fun Present We Have Hangovers and Last One In's a Rotten Egg. Upstairs is just like a house party, complete with broken loos and random strangers falling over you. 333 is no longer somewhere you plan to go, it's somewhere you end up.
The mutant offspring of Rival Schools is a monthly musical sword fight of pop, rock and house to hip hop, D&B and party beats with Heroes of Annihilated Empires, DJ Dymond and Xpression Crew DJs.
