Downstairs at the King's Head review

Founded in 1981, this venue is still run with huge enthusiasm by the immensely knowledgeable promoter, Pete Grahame. It's an easy-going place with a popular pub over the basement venue where photographs of previous acts line the walls like a comedy hall of fame. Below stairs, comedians tend to experiment and play around with complete freedom, and acts range from variety and cabaret to quality names such as Simon Munnery and Dave Gorman.

Tried to book tickets online for the 6 September show but their ticketing website (www.wegottickets.com) didn't appear to work. I then tried calling the King's Head but they wouldn't sell tickets, and told me to go the website. Completely useless!
