Oval House Theatre has made its name supporting experimental theatre companies and staging work by and about excluded communities. It's been doing both very well since the 1960s and continues to nurture work through local community projects, theatre clubs, workshops and arts education for young people at risk. Past successes include Michael Twait's 'Confessions of a Dancewhore', while productions range from straight theatre and spoken word to dance and comedy pieces.
