Still shamelessly dining out on its place in Camden's music history, Electric Ballroom likes nothing better than to revel in the roll-call of rockers that have graced the venue: Sid Vicious, U2, The Clash, Red Hot Chili PeppersÂ… the list is indeed impressive - and growing, the cavernous space continuing to draw loyal rock royalty. Cashwise, however, it probably benefits more from alt clubbers hitting Friday nights' rock-metal mainstay Sin City, and weekenders arriving for Saturdays' cheesy disco, Shake. It's also found a nifty way of utilising the sticky space during the day, opening up as a weekend market and café where Camden's goths and teens can stock up on stripy socks and skull rings.
