The bricks and arches of Cargo keep Shoreditch music fans in a blissful state of whatever-next-ness. Not as trendy as it once was, Cargo is still popular with a mixed crowd of students, scenesters and after-work suits. It's increasingly about live music here, but seminal nights such as Go!Zilla, Karen P's Broad Casting and Wonky Pop have also made this place home. Friday nights at Cargo are free, giving cash-strapped music junkies the chance to catch the likes of the Field and the Neon Noise Project in action for nothing. Check out the great street-food café and the Shepard Fairey-styled street art in the newly renovated garden, which is a summer hotspot for the area's hipsters.
