Clockmakers' Museum review

The museum of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, housed in a single room next to the Guildhall Library, tells the story of the dominance of English clockmaking over the centuries. Among the exhibits is the watch that went up Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary but most of the timepieces date from between 1600 and 1850.
