Garrick Theatre review Rate it

Rough around the edges, but with a populist charm, the Garrick has been known to stage the odd dud in its bid to please the masses. A standard fare of musicals have been dished up in the last few years including 'Zorro', that brilliantly fused the talents of Isabel Allende, Rafael Amargo and The Gypsy Kings; and Spain's painful 'Peter Pan el Musical'. The long term residence of JB Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls' is perhaps the theatre's greatest claim to fame, the production turning the Garrick into something of a student and tourist pilgrimage.
