It is my birthday on 17th May and as part of my birthday present my husband bought us tickets to see Joseph on 14th May. He didn't really wan to go but knew I would love it.
I have to tell you it was the best night's entertainment I have ever had. By the end of the evening it felt as if the whole theatre was rocking, the energy was incredible.
Pharoh as Elvis was priceless. Tears of laughter rolled down my face. He was brilliant, just brilliant. He had the whole audience in the palm of his hands.
Lee Mead was sensational as Joseph. Absolutely perfect. His voice is just wonderful. 'Close every door' brought tears to my eyes the first time he sang it but the second time they were streaming down my face! So moving, so wonderful.
By the end of the evening my husband Rich had to admit he had really enjoyed the show. He loved the fact that it didn't take itself too seriously and the humour was spot on.
A big thank you too to the brothers. We particularly loved the number sung in french accents. So funny but so cleverly done. Fantastic.
Can we say thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved in the show. I spent our long journey back to Leicester reliving the best bits and can't wait to get in to work to tell everyone about it.
To put on such a show night after night and obviously enjoy what you are doing must be exhausting but you uplifted everyone with this amazing performance.
    Thank you all.
