Well after reading the comments regarding sound - something that i am extremely fussy about.
I am now unsure if I want to spend a forune to get there and try to enjoy the Roger Waters Concert...
Wnen you consider the type of sound required to perform the whole of Dark Side Of The Moon ?
It makes you think.
Perhaps I will not bother.
Regards

Went to take the children to see My Chemical Romance last night 15/11/7, I agree the sound was terrible, gig was great. we also flew to Newcastle to see them 3 days before in a much smaller venue, the sound was 100 times better. they need to sort this out, I hope people complain so they take action!
Oh dear, Prince on Friday 03/08, shocking sound quality, the worst I have ever experienced at a concert. You could hardly make out the vocals and bass was heavy. It was like listening to next door's music through the walls.
I went there to see Prince. Unfortunately I agree about the sound. It wasn't clear at all. Apart from that I was appalled by the security men's attitude. I was in row G in the floor area of the arena. They kept roaming up and down the aisles quite aggressively telling people off for various reasons (don't move from your seat, don't use your camera-phone, etc., etc.) right until the very end of the concert. I go to lots of concerts and it's the first time I see such attitude. The atmosphere felt quite heavy. What really spoiled the evening for me was something I witnessed on my way to the toilet: In the corridor there was a woman face down lying on the floor with five security men on her. I don't know what she had done but surely there was no need for such demonstration of force. It lasted for a while before they took her away. I was quite shocked and it seemed I wasn't the only one. These security men should be properly trained and realise they're not in front of hooligans. I never want to go back there again.
Couldn't agree more about the sound. Saw Scissor Sisters on Saturday and the sound was truly atrocious (distorted bass and mids like the noise of a rocket taking off)
My wife (who is not an audiophile in any sense of the word) said she couldn't make out the vocals.
Considering how much they harp on about the sound installation at this arena, I am amazed how rubbish it was!
I will be going to see Prince there on Friday and if it is as bad as it was last Saturday, it will be my last visit there.
at last a world class venue 20 minutes from central london for all who love a concert. a dream to get to and very well organised security. at one point a sniffer dog was sent to a bag left alone and it was checked and moved. the venue (dome) very well done one main street ringing the arena. will be excellent once all the bars and resteraunts are open. at the moment the queues are very long and the slug and lettuce. the only pub open seems to have a licence to print money. 1 x large 1 x cider 1 white and 1 red (glasses) £18.60 rip off. the o2 staff are very helpfull and there are tons of them. the arena wow amazing loads of room to get around massive walkways. obviously all brand new and shinny but still well planned.the staff again brilliant in all ways. the prices well heres a shock food and drink cheaper than the bars outside. top tip get in there and drink less crowded and more for your money. as you walk in side you are taken back by the size of the place awsome. shame though because when the concert starts thats when you wonder if some of the money spent on the plush walkways, numerous escalators abundance of staff and all manor of shiny thinks may have been better spent on a few more speakers. now im not a heavy metal rock head who likes to get deaf but honestly we were talking amongst ourselves.the main topic was the sound this was discused by everyone inside, leaving and on the train home. i mean everyone. from those who felt let done to those who felt realy cheated. the atmoshpehre was dulled due to this and when the performer spoke you could not even here them. i might add that i was there for the scissor sisters so not a quite ballad night. on speaking to the staff this is apparently (not confirmed) down to the council. whats amazing is there is nothing around the venue to upset and standing outside at the bar with just a door between you and the concert the music cannot be heard at all not even the bass. in all london now has a great venue with great staff and performers linning up to play there. but from the chitter chatter last night if they dont get the sound sorted then im afraid it will be back to slog out to wembley arena for me and a few i suspect
