Coachella may be best known as a music festival, but anyone who's been knows that art plays just as big of a role. From larger-than-life sculptures to the clothes on people's back, art is front and center, and now it's your chance to get involved. Coachella and one of its partners, the Global Inheritance program, are calling on visual artists across the country to submit designs for the opportunity to decorate a recycling bin at the festival—yes, a recycling bin.

The concept of the TRASHed Art of Recycling program, which is celebrating 12 years at the festival, is to promote awareness of recycling throughout the event (a noble cause in our opinion). More than 40 artists will be chosen to transform a bin that will be exhibited, and used, on the festival grounds. The best part about it? Those chosen will receive two VIP passes to Weekend 2—that in and of itself is worth submitting work, whether you're an artist or not.

The deadline to submit your designs online is February 14. People have already been taking to Instagram to show off their design concepts, so we thought we'd include some of our favorites to help get your creative juices flowing.
