The Grand Palais is a pretty epic setting for this kind of yoga event but the Santa Monica Pier isn't exactly a basement yoga studio either.

Canadian activewear company Lolë announced that dates of its fifth annual White Tour yesterday, and this year's tour includes a stop in Santa Monica for the first time. More than 1,500 yogis dressed in white are invited to the practice at the Santa Monica Pier this September dressed in white for peace, relaxation and practice.

The event isn't until Nov. 7, but tickets are already on sale now (starting at $25/each if you register as a group of at least 4 people, or $30 for individual tickets) and prices increase in September. All guests will receive a Lolë yoga mat to use at the event and a gift bag.

The practice will be led by local yogi Seane Corn, who frequently appears at yoga conventions all over the world, and there will also be live music but the artist hasn't been announced yet.

Lolë has a location in Brentwood where you can shop the brand's white collection to get ready for the event—it is BYO-white yoga gear. The brand is also sold at California REI locations.

The White Tour will also be making stops this year at Central Park in New York, Whistler, Paris, Montreal and Toronto.

We're into yoga in cool LA places. Did you know there will be a yoga class of 1,000 on the field at Dodger Stadium following a game next month?

Here are a few more photos of previous White Tour events around the world.
