As the Hello Kitty paraphernalia keeps piling up in the Time Out Los Angeles office, we're left asking ourselves, "Is there such a thing as too much HK?" Apparently not, judging by the little cat-girl's 2015 itinerary: the ongoing JANM exhibition, plans for a cafe in Orange County and now Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival.

Think of it as Hello Kitty Con-lite, with a touring sideshow of performances, merch and photo ops. That's exciting if you live in, say, Minneapolis, but we've already experienced the full-blown con (and a sneak peek of this show) here in LA. So what (other than its twee title) makes the Supercute Friendship Festival special? Maybe Hello Kitty twirling around on stage with her boyfriend, Dear Daniel. Or Badtz-Maru shredding a guitar with a crew of backup dancers. Keroppi, Chococat and the rest of her friends—in oversized, fuzzy form—will all invade the Forum next June for five sugary shows.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Nov. 21, at 10am. General admission costs just over $50—and that, of course, doesn't include the buckets of money you'll likely drop on merch. A nearly $300 VIP pass will guarantee access to meet-and-greets, preferred seating and the gift shop.

Here's the preview we saw at Hello Kitty Con.
