Celebrate Valentine's Day with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Every year, the orchestra plans a romantic program of music (usually from the Romantic Period, imagine that!) for you and your sweetie. Stroll around the gardens at intermission and begin the night with a pre-concert Champagne toast at Patina. After the concert, enjoy a free dessert buffet and a photo booth.
The 2014 Romance at the Phil program includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major, Berg's Seven Early Songs (sung by soprano Camilla Tilling), and Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn. Lionel Bringuier returns to the LA Phil (he used to be the LA Phil's resident conductor) to lead the orchestra.
