The West Coast version of the famed New York club isn't the hippest place in town, and the industrial setting can feel both cold and claustrophobic. But the three stages do offer a wide variety of local and touring acts: indie groups such as Girl in a Coma, lots of LA ska- and rockabilly-punk, and occasional hit-makers like Gavin DeGraw.
