One of a handful of old-school Mexican watering holes in the inner city that have been taken over by new-school hipsters, La Cita serves as a bar, a restaurant and a club, complete with a dancefloor and an outdoor patio. Edgy dance-punks and big-name artist-DJs (Shepard Fairey, to name one) have called the red-velvet-adorned venue home in recent times, but you can still find Downtown throwbacks, including many Latinos, sipping Modelos at happy hour.
