Sure taste in culture, clothing and food are important, but you totally only sat through Jai's lectures and Ted's cooking demos so that you could see Thom take a guy's home from bachelor pad to bachelor rad. Thom Filicia has come along way since Queer Eye, designing projects for Jennifer Lopez and W Hotels and even getting his own show, Dress My Nest. His latest book, American Beauty, tells the story through text and more than 300 photographs of his own home, a fixer-upper he came across when visiting New York's Finger Lakes. Head to Calypso at the Brentwood Country Mart this Friday for the chance to meet Thom in person and have him sign copies of his book. As an added bonus, the store, which sells everything from home decor to handbags and apparel, is offering $25 off every $150 spent. If only Carson where there too.
