Settle in for this unsettling double feature, part of American Cinematheque's "Dystopia Gone Wild: 30 Years After 1984" series. First off is Brazil, Terry Gilliam's 1985 sci-fi noir cult film, starring Jonathan Pryce and Robert De Niro. Pryce plays Sam Lowry, a man trying to find the woman in his dreams in a buffoonish dystopian world. Then, George Lucas' first, and most adult, film will transport you to a bleak future where human thoughts and emotions are stifled. Fun stuff!
