Fifteen years ago, Sofia Coppola adapted Jeffrey Eugenides's 1993 novel of the same name into a film so vividly dreamy and heartbreaking elegiac, she hasn't been able to top it since. Set in an unidentified patch of mid-’70s suburbia, The Virgin Suicides is an intensely atmospheric drama that observes the five blonde and blossoming teenage daughters of the Lisbon household (including a stunning Kirsten Dunst) during the final year of their existence. Celebrate the decade-and-a-half that the fallen Lisbon girls have mystified audiences at Cinefamily's midnight screening. Tickets are $12 for non-members, and doors open at 11:30pm.
