El Jefe at Animal

Art comes to life on July 21 when El Jefe, the fictional food truck from Jon Favreau's Chef, makes a one-time appearance at Animal. For $75, diners will be able to enjoy a multi-course tasting menu, including hamachi ceviche, roasted mojo chicken and grilled blue prawns—delivered to the table by Roy Choi, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo. In a rush? Stop by Animal's patio instead, where $9 cubano sandwiches will be available to go (cash only!).
