Food GPS Fried Chicken Festival

How better to spend a summer afternoon than alongside LA's most noted chefs and a lifetime supply of fried chicken? Held this year at Chinatown's Central Plaza (943 N Broadway), Food GPS hosts its five-finger-lickin' Fried Chicken Festival—a chef-driven, all-inclusive fete, dedicated solely to the beloved dish and all its crunchy, tender goodness. Guests will delight in nearly a dozen different takes on fried chicken from restaurants such as Eggslut, Superba Food + Bread, Badmaash and others. Mosey from dish to dish, while sipping specialty cocktails and deciding which dessert to choose after you're all chickened out. Tickets are $65 ($75 at the door) or $90 ($100) if you go the VIP route, which includes an hour of early admission. What's more? A portion of the event's proceeds will directly benefit Los Angeles Chinatown Youth Council, providing positive community programs to the growing population of Chinatown youth.
