One of the city’s best—and most delicious—fundraising events is back to close out the summer with bites from the best restaurants in L.A. Of course as you make your way through tastings from more than 60 chefs, wineries and breweries, you’ll also be helping Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation: the heartwarming charity helps to fight childhood cancer.
Chef Suzanne Goin and her business partner Caroline Styne (A.O.C.), as well as chef David Lentz (of the now-closed Hungry Cat), host the day-long cookout that brings in top chefs from across the country and beyond to UCLA’s Royce Quad. This year’s returning chefs include Providence’s Michael Cimarusti; Rustic Canyon’s Jeremy Fox; Mozza’s Nancy Silverton; Bestia and Bavel’s Ori Menashe; Jar’s Suzanne Tracht; and Jon and Vinny’s Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo. First-time participants include Jitlada’s “Jazz” Sarin Sing and Pine and Crane’s Vivian Ku, among others. You can find the full list of participating chefs and restaurants here (try not to drool, we dare you).
You’ll also be joining longtime attendee Jimmy Kimmel and others in support of this incredible cause, and a large portion of your ticket is even tax deductible—seriously, what’s not to love about L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade?
