Oktoberfest at Wirtshaus

The German gods smile upon us during the month of October, when Bavaria invades La Brea's Wirtshaus for six weeks of brew-centric debauchery. The Oktoberfestivities commence September 20 at 3pm when a celebrity guest (of German descent, of course) will tap the restaurant's ceremonial keg, from which entrée-purchasing guests will drink free until the barrel runs dry. Over the next month and a half, guests can expect on-theme food and drink specials, live traditional German music on weekends, plus Kraut-inspired décor and giveaways. Prost!
