Taste of Mexico

This annual event—designed to promote authentic Mexican cuisine—legitimates LA's standing as one of the top cities for south-of-the-border food. Head Downtown to La Plaza de Cultura y Artes (501 N Main St) for a nightlong culinary fiesta featuring plenty of tacos, tequila and live mariachi music.
