The second installment of LACMA's CUR-ATE series allows Angeleno art lovers of the epicurean persuasion to explore the importance of the "kitchen garden," as well as European and American art from the 17th to the 21st century. Food and art historian Maite Gomez-Rejon of Artbites will guide guests through LACMA, while expounding upon key figures in gardening history. An informal discussion about shifting culinary trends through the centuries will ensue before guests visit the garden at Ray's for a harvest-inspired meal. The evening's events will cost you $100 even ($90 for LACMA members), with wine pairings available for an additional fee. Reservations for these exclusive programs close Wednesday at noon the week prior, so reserve early online or by phone.
