RECOMMENDED: The best farmers' markets in LA
Formerly known as the Sunset Strip Farmers' Market and more recently rebranded as the Sunset Strip Craft Beer Market, this seasonal summer market for the Hollywood set has upped its cool factor. There is still a line of fresh produce stalls from local organic farmers (new vendors are announced each year, though past participants have included Valley Center Growers, enFuso and Denny's Organic Farms). There is still a cavalcade of LA's top food trucks, like S'cream Truck, The Kosher Palate and more, handing out plates of mouth-watering meals to those who just can't wait to cook with the produce in their bag. The entertainment is still there as well, with new bands playing a set every week, and a Virtual Zone where you can indulge in video games with your friends. What is new: craft breweries and wineries sampling and selling their beverages to attendees. The current focus on quality libations means that the beer garden will be just as important as the vegetable stalls—and hey, we're not complaining. It's the perfect way to combine grocery shopping and happy hour in one.
