Located on the sand, Casa Malibu is the only hotel on this stretch that has its own beach for exclusive use of guests. Malibu Colony is within walking distance; so is Malibu Pier, where fabulous breaks provide some of the best longboard surfing in Southern California. The inn offers four types of room, including two mini-suites with king-size beds, fireplaces and kitchens. The beachfront and ocean-view rooms are coveted, but all have private decks and some include adjacent rooms for families. Considering the location and amenities, rates are very reasonable.
