The old Beverly Hills Inn was brought into the 21st century with some style in 2003, and it remains an impressive operation. The luxury here is all in the best possible taste: the earth-toned rooms come complete with wonderful linens, immense shower-heads and free high-speed internet access, with the one- and two-bedroom suites simply continuing the theme on a larger scale. With only 49 rooms, the Mosaic has the feel of a boutique hotel, a welcome change from some of its more impersonal neighbours. Rodeo Drive is a short stroll from the door.
