Open only since 2005, the most discreet of all the Kor Hotel Group's properties is also one of its most appealing. Tucked away in a quiet West Hollywood sidestreet, the Chamberlain is less buzzy than the Viceroy and subtler than the Avalon, but the understated look is perfect for the location and part of the property's appeal.
The rooms are a reasonable size and decorated in homely yet stylish fashion, and all of them come with several mod cons (DVD players, large desks). Still, don't be surprised if you spend a lot of your time with cocktail in hand up in the atmospheric pool area.
