Don't let the dress code (no T-shirts, sportswear, sneakers or baggy jeans) scare you off: you'll be thankful you made the effort when you set foot inside this power plant-turned-Downtown hot spot. The names of the party lounges (Tesla, Generator) pay homage to the building's past life; the occasional cabaret shows hint at the era from which it sprang.

One of the best bars I visited while in LA. Great atmosphere, get there early as possible or you'll be queuing all night. Definitely going there again this year when I visit!
Don't let the alley entrance scare you away. It's the best spot in downtown LA to grab a cool cocktail or the signature drink of the night along with an order of sweet potato fries or truffle mac & cheese! Excellent atmosphere with silent movies projected on the walls and a swanky crowd. Don't forget to order a shot from the Absinthe Fairy. Enjoy!
