Santa Monica Historical Society Museum review Rate it
Founded in the 1970s, the SMHS contains a variety of holdings relating to the intriguing history of this coastal town. The museum is currently closed, but it's due to reopen in 2009 at a new site in the Santa Monica Public Library building just a few blocks from the Third Street Promenade. Call in advance before setting out.
