Formerly the Museum of Television & Radio but now renamed after its co-founder, former CBS president William S Paley, the Paley Center boasts a permanent collection of more than 140,000 TV and radio programmes. The collection is accessible to the public for on-site viewing (search the database and request a tape); the museum, designed by Getty Villa architect Richard Meier, also organises regular screenings, seminars and discussions in its theatre.
